Man's Best Friend Gets A Makeover

Can Anyone Say PUPPLY LOVE? Well I LOVE this Puppy Rocking "Horse".  Ugly old leather ears were removed and new striped ears were attached. The dark knotty pine (sturdy and well constructed) got a quick makeover and this pup is ready to be adopted!!

We named him Roofus, but feel free to change it when you get him home!

Cartographer's Table - Side Table - UNIQUE

This table was actually created for my cousin who is a History Teacher with a fascination for maps... Come to find out she is moving and doesn't have room for it.. oh well.. her loss, your gain!

We took a vintage side table with single drawer over a shelf as our starting point - our "bones" as we call it. The front of the drawer has been adorned with a vintage section of a map. Perfect for that cartographer or world traveler, or simply someone who wants a one of a kind piece of furniture!

I almost passed on this it was so ugly... Green Music Desk

This old writing desk was just done wrong!! No quality piece of vintage furniture deserves a paint job like this one had on it!! Faux painted Hell if you ask me!!

Now this vintage writing desk is painted a nice calm green, we adorned the top with vintage sheet music (decoupage with a coat of clear varnish on top so you can use it), the desk has a single drawer in the front. It comes with a matching chair with a lyre back to finish off the musical theme.

Impressive transformation if you ask me - "your welcome vintage writing desk, your welcome"!!

Who Doesn't Love Chenille - Why Not Put It on a Footstool?

Now this is LOVE!! This footstool wasn't even worthy of putting the dirtiest of feet on when it started out last week.... YUCK! Dingy fabric and dark wood legs, just YUCK!  We have given vintage footstool new life, it has been recovered in a vintage chenille bedspread fabric with yellow and green floral on a white background.

The legs of the stool have been given a fresh coat of crisp white paint.

Repurposed For Sure! Chalkboard Door Cupboard Cabinet

This posting is for a wonderful 1930's solid wood cabinet, the original broken glass door has been replaced with a chalkboard to add a whimsical and more usable touch. The exterior has been given a nice warm coat of creamy paint and the inside is the most calming and beautiful blue.
